SEC Network returns for its second season of Southeastern Conference football with daily programming surrounding all of the gridiron action, including the network's three (or more) exclusive games every Saturday. This fall's line-up is highlighted with a new show, SEC Inside, focusing on re-living one game each week through an entirely new perspective. SEC Network has hired award-winning cinematographer Jim Jorden to direct the new show.
"Producing a weekly quick turnaround episodic series is something I've wanted to do for quite a long time," said Jorden recently in an ESPN Front Row interview (Read full interview). "The fans are so passionate. I think in showcasing all 14 schools, it will be obvious why there's nothing quite like game day in the Southeastern Conference."
Over the course of the season the show spotlights each team in a game from the home-school perspective, providing previously unaired footage from game preparation, the sideline and following the final whistle.
SEC Inside debuts with two episodes following the Week 1 matchups. The first, featuring the Western Kentucky at Vanderbilt game, airs at the show's regularly scheduled time on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. ET. The show is followed by SEC Film Room and then an additional SEC Inside episode at 8 p.m. featuring New Mexico State at Florida.
