Florida's Chris Chiozza
Chiozza, a 6-foot 176-pound junior guard from Memphis, Tenn., averaged seven points, 10.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists in wins over Missouri and eighth-ranked Kentucky. Recorded just the fourth triple-double in program history when he had 12 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists while coming off the bench against Missouri. He is the first player in the nation to post a triple-double off the bench since Chris Lowe (3/5/08 vs UMass). Finished the week by narrowly missing a double-double with nine rebounds and nine assists in the win against Kentucky.
SEC Freshman of the Week
Auburn's Jared Harper
Harper, a 5-foot-10, 165-pound guard from Mableton, Ga., averaged 17.5 points while shooting 52.6 percent from the floor and 70 percent on 7-of-10 3-pointers against Tennessee and Alabama. He totaled 14 points, including 11 in the second half, in the win over Alabama while making 2-of-3 treys and 4-of-6 free throws. Against Tennessee, Harper scored a game-high 21 points on 5-of-7 3-pointers while also dishing out two assists and pulling down two rebounds to go along with a steal.
