Twenty-three SEC T&F programs ranked in Top-25

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- A total of 23 Southeastern Conference men's and women's track and field programs are included in the latest edition of the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Team Computer Rankings released Monday.

A nation-leading 11 SEC men's programs are ranked in the top-25, including six of the top-seven. Florida and Texas A&M are ranked Nos. 1 and 2, respectively, while Alabama is No. 4, Georgia is No. 5, LSU is No. 6 and Arkansas is No. 7. Ole Miss is No. 13, Tennessee is No. 15, South Carolina is No. 17, Auburn is No. 21 and Kentucky is No. 22. No other conference has more than four men's teams in the top-25.

A nation-best 12 SEC women's programs are ranked in the top-25 with three in the top-four. Arkansas, Kentucky and LSU are Nos. 2-4, respectively, while Florida is No. 6, Georgia is No. 7 and Texas A&M is No. 8. Tennessee is No. 11, Auburn is No. 16, Ole Miss is No. 18, Alabama is No. 20, South Carolina is No. 22 and Mississippi State is No. 25. No other conference has more than four women's teams in the top-25.

The SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships will take place May 11-13 in Columbia, S.C.
