Thirteen student-athletes from the Southeastern Conference were selected to one of the 2017 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division I All-American teams.
Among the conferences, the SEC led the way with 13 honorees, while the Pac-12 racked up 10 accolades and the Big Ten came in with nine. The Atlantic Coast Conference (6), Big 12 (5), Conference USA (3) and Sun Belt Conference (3) also had multiple selections.
Headlining the NFCA All-American First Team from the SEC are: Alexis Osorio from Alabama; Kelly Barnhill, Delanie Gourley and Amanda Lorenz from Florida; Sahvanna Jaquish and Bailey Landry from LSU; and Meghan Gregg from Tennessee. Earning a spot on the NFCA All-American Third Team from the SEC are: Kaylee Carlson from Auburn; Kayli Kvistad from Florida; Cortni Emanuel from Georgia; Katie Reed from Kentucky; Allie Walljasper from LSU; and Riley Sartain from Texas A&M.
