SEC Offensive Player of the Week - Ole Miss's CeCe Kizer, a junior forward/midfielder from Overland Park, Kan., matched her 2016 total with five goals through the first two contests to open the season. Kizer had a hat trick just 30 minutes into the season-opener again Alabama State. She recorded two goals and an assist against Northwestern State on Sunday to push her season point total to 11.
SEC Defensive Player of the Week - LSU's Caroline Brockmeier, a junior goalkeeper from Tallahassee, Fla., posted two clean sheets for the Tigers in wins against Mississippi Valley State on Friday and at Colgate on Sunday. She made a career-high 12 saves against Colgate, smashing her previous single-game best of nine saves set twice during the 2016 season.
SEC Freshman of the Week - Texas A&M's Jimena Lopez, a freshman defender from Mexico City, Mexico, scored two of the Aggies' three goals in wins against Pepperdine and at San Diego. Lopez recorded the golden goal against Pepperdine and helped anchor a defense that recorded two shut outs and held opponents to just four shots-on-goal.
