SEC Volleyball Week 14 Player of the Week

Offensive Player of the Week
Leah Edmond • Kentucky
Sophomore • OH • 6-2 • Lexington, Ky.

Edmond averaged 6.50 points and 6.50 kills per set to close out the regular season. On Wednesday at Arkansas, her 21 kills over three sets was a UK three-set record, and she committed just two errors in 42 attempts and hit .452 in the win. On Friday at Georgia, Edmond helped Kentucky clinch a share of the SEC Championship with 15 kills and 11 digs, her sixth double-double of the season. She added two blocks in that match. Over the weekend, Edmond committed just three errors and hit .423.

Defensive Player of the Week
Ashley Dusek • Kentucky
Senior • L • 5-7 • East Bernard, Texas

Dusek averaged 7.00 digs per set in the wins at Arkansas and Georgia. She did not commit a reception error in either match, and posted 20 or more digs in each set, including 22 against Arkansas. Dusek also chipped in eight assists, helping the team hit .348 over the week.

Setter of the Week
Madison Lilley • Kentucky
Freshman • 6-1 • Overland Park, Kan.

Lilley recorded 80 assists over last week, including 44 in the three-set sweep of Arkansas on Wednesday. She helped her team hit .348 over the week, and directed the offense to register 97 kills. Lilley also contributed four kills, four blocks and eight digs during the final week of conference play.

Freshman of the Week
Camille Conner • Texas A&M
Freshman • S • 6-1 • Katy, Texas

Conner directed the Texas A&M offense to a .346 hitting percentage for the week as the Aggies hit above .315 in back-to-back road victories over Mississippi State and Alabama. She set a career-high for a four-set match and tied her overall career high with 46 assists in the win over the Bulldogs. In the sweep at Alabama, Conner tallied her team-leading sixth double-double of the season with 28 assists and a team-high 11 digs. She had two aces in each match to average a team-leading 0.57 aces per set. For the week, Conner averaged 10.57 assists and 2.57 digs per set for the week.
