Player of the Week: A'ja Wilson, South Carolina
Wilson posted her third and fourth career 30-point games within two days of each other at the Gulf Coast Showcase. Her career-high 34 points against #6/6 Notre Dame made her the only Gamecock in program history to record three 30-point games against nationally ranked opponents - two of which have come this season. Tied her career high with five assists against the Irish as well. Scored 18 of her 34 points against Notre Dame in the fourth quarter as the Gamecocks mounted a rally, including a pair of steals that she took the length of the floor and finished around a defender at the rim. Posted her sixth-straight double-double with 17 points and a Gulf Coast Showcase record 17 rebounds against St. John's. Moved up in the South Carolina career record book to sixth in scoring (1809), sixth in rebounding (886) and sixth in double-doubles (36). She averaged 23.9 ppg, 11.7 rbg, 2.4 apg, 3.7 bpg and 0.6 spg.

Freshman of the Week: Rennia Davis, Tennessee
Davis averaged 12.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in three games, as #20/20 Tennessee romped to a 3-0 record at the Cancun Challenge. Davis shot 55 percent from the field and started all three games for the Lady Vols. She now has scored in double figures in five of six games and has posted double-doubles three times (consecutively). She came up huge in the victory over #20/20 Marquette, connecting on 7-of-13 shots to tally 14 points and 10 rebounds in the OT win. She shot 50 percent from the field vs. Oklahoma State, finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds. In the finale vs. South Dakota, Davis was 5-of-8 from the field, 1-of-1 on threes and 1-of-1 on charity tosses for 12 points. She added five boards, three assists, a block and a steal and was UT's co-leader in points and assists.
