Player of the Week: Texas A&M's Khaalia Hillsman
Hillsman averaged 25.5 points and 9.5 rebounds while shooting 16-of-19 (.842) from the field and 19-of-22 (.864) from the line, helping the Aggies to two wins and scoring 20+ points each time. She set a career-high against Auburn with 31 points off of 10-of-11 shooting, which ties for the third-best single-game shooting performance at Texas A&M. It was her first career 30+ point game. She added 10 rebounds at Auburn, marking her fourth double-double of the season, and the 19th of her career, which ties for second on A&M's career list. She also scored 20 points against Kentucky, with a perfect 8-of-8 mark from the free throw line. Over the course of the week, she moved from 10th to eighth on Texas A&M's career rebound list. She has now made 92 consecutive starts at Texas A&M.
Freshman of the Week: Georgia's Que Morrison
Morrison led all scorers with 14 points in a road win at Kentucky. The victory improved Georgia's record to a perfect 6-0 on the road this season, marking the first time since 1999 that the Lady Bulldogs have started a season 6-0 away from home. Morrison knocked in 7-of-9 free throws in the fourth quarter alone against the Wildcats to seal Georgia's win and break a four-game losing skid to Kentucky. She also played a crucial role in another road win for the Lady Bulldogs with eight points and six boards at Vanderbilt. With her performances this week, she is now Georgia's third-leading scorer this season on a balanced team that has had eight or more players score in 14 of 16 games. Morrison averaged 11points, 6.5 rebounds, 2 assists and one steal on the week.
