SEC Gymnast of the Week
Sarah Finnegan • LSU
Junior • Lee's Summit, Mo.

Finnegan opened the season by setting a career high in the all-around with a score of 39.650 in LSU's home opener over No. 19 Arkansas. She totaled three titles on the night (all-around, bars, beam) and finished second on the other three events. Finnegan also tied her career high on bars with a 9.95 in the anchor spot of the lineup. Her scores on beam and all-around rank No. 1 in the nation after week one.

SEC Specialist of the Week
Kiana Winston • Alabama
Senior • Fort Worth, Texas

In her first meet wearing the SEC Graduate patch after earning her degree in psychology, Winston won both the uneven bars (9.925) and balance beam (9.900) at No. 7 and defending Big 10 Champion Michigan. She is ranked in the top-five nationally in both events following the first week of the season. Winston also took fourth place in the floor exercise in the Crimson Tide's season opener in Ann Arbor.

SEC Freshman of the Week
Jazmyn Foberg • Florida
Freshman • Bayville, N.J.

Foberg was runner-up in the season opener all-around at 39.125. That total is the second highest among the nation's freshmen and highest among SEC freshmen so far in 2018. Her total was the fifth-highest ever for a Gator freshman in a season opener. Foberg took Third on floor at 9.825. She was inserted mid-meet into the all-around lineup, as senior All-American Kennedy Baker suffered leg cramps during uneven bars competition and was held out of the remaining three events. Foberg took Baker's slot in the beam lineup, helping UF post the nation's top beam team total of 2018.
