SEC Gymnast of the Week
Sarah Finnegan • LSU
Junior • Lee's Summit, Mo.

Finnegan won three titles on Friday night in her third-straight all-around appearance to the lead the Tigers to a victory over No. 9 Alabama. She set career highs on both vault (9.90) and bars (9.975). The reigning NCAA bars champion won her ninth career title on the event and second of the season with the second highest score in the event by any gymnast this season. Finnegan capped off a bars lineup that posted the second-highest score in school history (49.625) and the best in the nation. The vault title also marked the first of her career as she won the event on a Yurchenko full in the second spot of the lineup. Finnegan closed her outstanding night by posting the second-highest score of her career on the event with a 9.925.

SEC Specialist of the Week
Sabrina Vega • Georgia
Sophomore • Carmel, N.Y.

Vega sealed Georgia's first win of 2018 and the first under head coach Courtney Kupets Carter in the anchor position on floor with a career-high 9.950. Her score on floor was the highest score of the meet and tied a team record. Vega tied her season-high score on beam at 9.875, en route to tying for first place in the event. For the first time this season, she competed in vault and tied her career high against the Tigers.

SEC Freshman of the Week
Sami Durante • LSU
Freshman • Athens, Ga.

Durante led off LSU's bar lineup for the third straight meet and scored a career-high 9.90. She performed in front of a school-record crowd of 13,726. LSU's bar lineup went on to score the second-highest score in school history of 49.625, thanks to Durante's start in the event. She owns the highest bars average by any freshman in the conference.
