Georgia picked to win 2018 SEC Women's Tennis title

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Southeastern Conference announced the women's tennis coaches' preseason poll, Wednesday.

The Georgia Bulldogs were picked as the overall champion. Last season, UGA collected a 19-6 record and their 31st consecutive NCAA Championships appearance under Georgia head coach Jeff Wallace who is in his 33rd season. The Bulldogs are currently ranked fourth in the Oracle ITA rankings.

The preseason poll is voted on by the women's tennis head coach at each institution and is based on a 14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 vote.
