Maggie Bowen, Auburn, Swimming, 1999-2003
Maggie Bowen was a 21-time All-American, a nine-time NCAA Champion and a 16-time SEC Champion. She was a three-time SEC Women's Swimmer of the Year and swept the IM events at the NCAA meet each of her final three seasons. In the summer of 2001, she became Auburn swimming's first female World Champion as she swam to a first-place finish in the 200 IM at the 2001 FINA World Championships. She also led Auburn to back-to-back NCAA team championships, including the first in program history in 2002.
