SEC Women's Legend Spotlight: Beth Mallory Lesch

Beth Mallory Lesch, Alabama, Track & Field, 2002-06

One of the most decorated student-athletes in the history of Crimson Tide track and field, Beth Mallory was four-time all-American in the discus, two-time All-American in the hammer throw and the 2005 NCAA discus national champion. A three-time SEC discus champion, Mallory was also the 2005 SEC champion in the shot put and hammer throw, earning her the coveted Commissioner's Trophy as the high scorer at the conference championships and was voted SEC Field Athlete of the Year. The two-time team captain for the Crimson Tide and member of the University of Alabama chorus, Mallory was also a standout in the classroom earning CoSIDA Academic All-American honors, an NCAA postgraduate scholarship and being named a 2007 NCAA Tov VIII honoree.
