Player of the Week

The Wildcats' Justina Mikulskyte went undefeated in both singles and doubles this weekend, including a ranked win over then-No. 81 Stephanie Schrage from Princeton at No. 2 singles. She helped Kentucky hand Princeton their first loss of the season. She rallied through a three-set match with Schrage to clinch the 4-3 victory for UK over Princeton. She played No. 1 singles against Columbia, winning in straight sets over Christie Wan and dropping only one game in the match. She has won three consecutive singles matches - including two over ranked opponents - to help Kentucky to its three-match win streak. Helped the Wildcats get back into this week's team rankings at No. 20 and entered ITA singles rankings this week at No. 117.

Freshman of the Week

LSU's Eden Richardson had another flawless week for the LSU women's tennis team, going 3-0 in singles across courts two and three. Richardson, ranked No. 105 in the country, completed straight-set victories against all three of LSU's in-state rivals, including the reigning Conference USA Freshman of the Year and All-Conference player Ivone Alvaro of Tulane. Richardson is in the midst of a six-match unbeaten streak and currently leads the team with 18 total singles wins dating back to the fall. She also leads the team in dual doubles wins and is second on the team in dual singles wins.
