Player of the Week: Florida's Johannes Ingildsen continued his impressive SEC play, picking up another set of back-to-back wins to move to 7-2 in league action. He dominated in his match against No. 32 LSU, dropping only two games and turning in the Gators first point as they rallied to defeat the Tigers. He then completed the scoring efforts for Florida against No. 7 Texas A&M with a thrilling three-set decision. Ingildsen also picked up a win in doubles on Friday, going 3-0 on the weekend. His win Sunday in singles marked his sixth straight, and helped Florida record its 11th-straight victory, all over top-50 opponents.
Freshman of the Week: Due to an injury to usual starter Philip Henning, Georgia freshman Blake Croyder stepped into the lineup and went a perfect 3-0 in singles matches, not losing a single set, to help the Bulldogs go undefeated last week. He put Georgia up 3-0 against No. 20 Alabama with a 6-3, 6-2 win against Jeremy Gschwendtner at court No. 6. The loss was the first for Gschwendtner in SEC play this season and just his second defeat of the season. On Sunday against Auburn, Croyder picked up Georgia's first doubles and first singles win of the day. He teamed with fellow freshman Trent Bryde to win a 7-6 (3) tiebreaker at the No. 3 doubles court, before defeating Michael Durham, 6-2, 6-1. The Marietta, Georgia native has won five-straight singles matches and six of his last seven doubles contests this season. Croyder is a part of a Georgia freshman class that has accounted for 19 singles wins in dual-match play this season.
