2007 SEC Football All-Freshman Team Announced

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Nine of the Southeastern Conference football squads are represented on the eighth annual SEC Coaches' All-Freshman Team, it was announced Thursday.

Auburn led the way with six selections. Arkansas and Florida have four each, while Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee added three on the rookie squad. South Carolina had two members on the team.

LSU wide receiver Terrance Toliver, Georgia running back Knowshon Moreno and Alabama linebacker Rolando McClain were the only players to be a unanimous selections to the team. Moreno was the SEC Freshman of the Year. Mississippi State quarterback Wesley Carroll won rookie honors after leading the Bulldogs to a 7-5 (4-4 SEC) record and a trip to the AutoZone Liberty Bowl. Chad Jones of SEC Champion LSU made the squad as both a defensive back and a return specialist.
