  • Moreno registered his third-highest rushing total of the season after tallying 163 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries to lead Georgia to a 52-38 win at #11 LSU.
  • He had the second-longest run of his career after scampering 68 yards for a score late in the third quarter and also had a 47-yard run in the game.
  • Moreno has moved up to eighth on the Georgia career rushing yardage list with 2,259 yards.
  • He also added two catches for nine yards against LSU.
  • The SEC POW honor is the third of the season and the second consecutive for Moreno.

  • Gamble tied a Georgia and SEC record after returning a pair of interceptions for touchdowns in the Bulldogs' 52-38 win over #11 LSU in Baton Rouge.
  • Gamble also had a career-high 13 tackles, which was second on the team against the Tigers.
  • His two picks for scores, which tied an NCAA record for linebackers, gave him 93 return yards in the game.
  • Gamble's first "oskie" went for a TD on the game's first play from the line of scrimmage to give the Bulldogs' a 7-0 lead with 14:40 left in the opening period.

  • Demps did it all in Florida's 63-5 win against Kentucky.
  • His blocked punt in the first quarter set up a Florida one-yard touchdown drive that put the Gators ahead, 14-0. He was credited with a 27-yard punt return on the play.
  • Demps was one of three Gators to have blocked kicks against the Wildcats.
  • Demps also led the Gators in rushing (seven carries for 50 yards) and receiving (4 catches for 67 yards and a TD).

  • Brignone graded out with an offensive line-best 88 percent blocking grade in Mississippi State's 31-22 win against Middle Tennessee.
  • He has eclipsed the 80-percent mark each of the past six games and has played every snap of the last five Bulldog contests.
  • Brignone helped pave the way for State to rack up 169 rushing yards. State also rushed for four touchdowns, the first time in a game since the 2001 Egg Bowl against Ole Miss.

  • Jerry was credited with five total tackles, including two sacks, and two quarterback pressures in Ole Miss' 23-21 win at Arkansas.
  • Ole Miss' defense held Arkansas to 104 net rushing yards with 38 yards lost on tackles for losses.
  • The SEC honor is the second of the season for Jerry, who was the Defensive Lineman of the Week against Vanderbilt.

  • Jones caught six passes for a season-best 103 yards in Alabama's 29-9 victory at Tennessee.
  • Jones had the first 100-yard game for an Alabama receiver this season against the Vols.
  • His long reception of 35 yards eventually led to a second quarter touchdown that put Alabama ahead, 13-3.
  • He had four catches for 82 yards in the first half.
  • Jones leads the Tide with 55.5 receiving yards per game.


    OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES FROM WEEK 9

    C ANTOINE CALDWELL (Alabama) -- Did not allow any sacks or pressures, had no penalties and led offensive line that did not give up a sack against Tennessee.

    TE D.J. WILLIAMS (Arkansas) -- Set a school-record for most catches by a tight end in a single game with 10 grabs for 129 yards against Ole Miss.

    QB KODI BURNS (Auburn) -- Led Tigers in rushing with 82 yards on 15 carries and a TD and also completed 13-of-21 passes for 111 yards (1 TD, 1 INT) against West Virginia.

    OL PHIL TRAUTWEIN (Florida) -- Graded a team-high 103 percent and had no missed assignments against Kentucky.

    C BEN JONES (Georgia) -- The true freshman helped pave the way for the Bulldogs to pile up 443 offensive yards without any turnovers against LSU.

    QB/WR RANDALL COBB (Kentucky) -- The true freshman led the Wildcats in rushing (9 for 52 yards), passing (9-of-18, 78 yards) and also caught two passes for seven yards against Florida.

    PK COLT DAVID (LSU) -- Became LSU's all-time leading scorer against Georgia with seven points (1 FG, PATs) and now has 323 points for his career.

    WR MIKE WALLACE (Ole Miss) -- Had five pass receptions for 120 yards and a touchdown, and also had two carries for 17 yards and three kickoff returns for 85 yards, giving him 222 all-purpose yards against Arkansas.

    RB ANTHONY DIXON (Mississippi State) -- Rushed for 126 yards on 27 carries and three touchdowns against Middle Tennessee.

    LB RICO McCOY (Tennessee) -- Led the Vols with 13 total tackles (4 solos) against Alabama.

    WR SEAN WALKER (Vanderbilt) -- Led the Commodores with six catches for 138 yards, including a 79-yard reception for a touchdown, against Duke.
