"Justin is probably destined to move inside and I think he can prosper there. Like most of them, he needs to get more physical and study film, but I think Justin is going to be a very good player for the Commodores.

Jay's just a football player.

"Charlie is just a phenomenal athlete, a guy with a 38-inch vertical and excellent speed. He's just a stalwart.

"Charlie has the mindset of a quarterback, a guy that walks with a swagger. He's one of those natural leaders. He gave all his teammates plenty of confidence. Later in the year, you'd hear our guys saying, `We've got Goro.' That's how confident they were in Charlie."

"I've been at this (coaching) for 13 years and he's the best I've ever been around. Everybody knew who was going to get the ball when they played us and Zac still got the job done.

"He has all the character and discipline you could want. Zac is as unselfish a player as I've ever been around. Vanderbilt is getting a young man that will represent the university the right way. He's not looking for a bunch of headlines."

He was our multi-purpose guy on offense, our top rusher and receiver. He played great as a defensive back and was our best return guy. He gave us 48 minutes a game.

"Eric carries his pads as well as anybody I've been around. When he gets in the open field, he just really looks great.

"Eric has a great deal of integrity. We've struggled a little bit and Eric could have transferred, but he stayed to see it through. He's a guy committed to his team, school and community."

THE BOLLES SCHOOL HEAD COACH CORKY ROGERS: "Mason had a wonderful year for us and was one of the main reasons why we were able to capture another state title.

"Actually, this was Mason's first year as our starting tight end but it's only because we've enjoyed a run of great tight ends here. I think Mason is every bit the player as the two that came before him and both of those guys are currently playing in the SEC.

"Mason is an athletic guy, our best basketball player at the school. On the football field, he's a physical player that runs well, a guy that can both catch the ball and do a great job blocking. Mason will be one of those guys that makes an impact."
