• Dixon rushed for a school-record 252 yards and two touchdowns in Mississippi State’s 31-24 win at Kentucky.

• He also caught two passes for 14 yards against the Wildcats.

• His 3-yard TD run in the final minute of the third quarter put the Bulldogs ahead to stay, 31-24.  His 1-yard TD run in the second quarter gave State a 14-10 lead.

• Dixon surpassed the school mark of 247 yards by Jerious Norwood vs. Houston in 2005.  His 7.64 yard per carry average against Kentucky is also a school record (min. 30 carries).

• The 252 yards is the most in the SEC this season, 15th highest in SEC history and 9th highest in an intra-conference SEC game.

• McFadden tied a career high with five tackles, along with 1.5 tackles for loss (-5 yards) and two interceptions in the Tigers’ 33-20 upset victory over Ole Miss.

• His first interception was a 29-yard return for a touchdown with 11:25 left in the third quarter to give Auburn a 24-7 advantage.

• McFadden’s second interception sealed the Tiger win, as with Ole Miss driving, he picked off Jevan Snead’s pass at the AU 6-yard line with under three minutes remaining and the Tigers up 33-20.

• He has four interceptions on the season, seven for his career, including two returned for scores.

• Sturgis nailed a career-long 56-yard field goal in the first half against Georgia, while also completing a 44-yard attempt, in the Gators’ 41-17 win against Georgia.

• His 56-yarder was the second-longest FG in school history and the longest field goal in the SEC this season.

• His eight kickoffs helped hold Georgia to an average starting field position of its own 20-yard line for the game.

• He is the only Gator since 1984 to connect on two field goals over 51 yards in the same season and is only of only four kickers to accomplish the feat in school history

• Is one of only six kickers in the nation to have two field goals of 51 yards or more this season, and one of two in the SEC to accomplish the feat.

• Petrus and the offensive line gave the Arkansas quarterbacks time to combine for 19-of-27 passes for 297 yards and three touchdowns, in Arkansas 63-27 win over Eastern Michigan.

• The line also paved the way for the Razorbacks to carry the ball 30 times for 292 yards and three touchdowns.

• The UA offensive line did not allow a sack against Eastern Michigan marking the second game this season the line has not allowed a sack.

• Coleman recorded five tackles, while tying career highs with four tackles for loss (-15 yards), including two sacks (-11) along with one forced fumble, four quarterback hurries and one blocked kick, in the Tigers’ 33-20 upset victory over Ole Miss.

• The four TFL were the most by an Auburn player since Coleman equaled the feat at Georgia in 2007.

• Coleman’s blocked kick came in the third quarter on a PAT, which was recovered by Demond Washington and returned for a defensive two-point conversion.  It was a three-point swing, turning a potential 31-21 AU lead to a 33-20 AU lead.

• Jackson had seven solo tackles, forced a fumble and contributed two pass breakups during Tennessee’s 31-13 win over South Carolina.

• The freshman’s big hit on the game’s third play from scrimmage resulted in a Gamecock fumble that Tennessee recovered and turned into seven points just two plays later.

• The Vols capitalized on four Carolina turnovers to score 24 of their 31 points.

• Jackson has started seven of eight games this season and stands as the leading freshman on the team with 33 tackles.


OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES FROM WEEK 9

WR JOE ADAMS (Arkansas) -- Had three catches for 109 yards and two TDs, including a career-long 78 yard reception against Eastern Michigan.

SS SETH ARMBRUST (Arkansas) -- On Eastern Michigan’s first drive of the second half, Armbrust blocked a punt and then scooped and scored to put the Razorbacks on top 49-0.

RB BEN TATE (Auburn) -- Rushed for 144 yards on 25 carries and a touchdown against Ole Miss.

LB A.J. JONES (Florida) -- Had five total tackles, two for losses (-9), including a sack, two interceptions and a pass deflection against Georgia.

QB TIM TEBOW (Florida) -- Completed 15-of-21 passes for 164 yards and two TDs and was also Gators’ leading rusher with 85 yards on 18 carries and two TDs against Georgia.

SC BRANDON BOYKIN (Georgia) -- Had team-high seven total tackles, one pass deflection and had 114 kickoff return yards on six attempts against Florida.

P DREW BUTLER (Georgia) -- Averaged 52.5 yards on four punts, including two inside the 20-yard line against Florida.

RS RANDALL COBB (Kentucky) -- Accounted for 237 all-purpose yards, including 142 on kickoff returns and 46 on punt returns against Miss. State.

LB KELVIN SHEPPARD (LSU) -- Had game-high 13 total tackles (five solos) with three for losses (-10 yards), including a sack, against Tulane.

RS TRINDON HOLLIDAY (LSU) -- Accounted for 105 punt return yards on three attempts, including a long of 50 yards, against Tulane.

RB DEXTER McCLUSTER (Ole Miss) -- Rushed for 186 yards on 22 carries, including a 79-yard touchdown run, and had four catches for 17 yards, against Auburn.

RS JESSE GRANDY (Ole Miss) -- Accounted for 150 yards of kickoff returns on five attempts including an 82-yard return for a touchdown against Auburn.

LB JAMAR CHANEY (Mississippi State) -- Logged a game-high 15 total tackles (five solos), with 1.5 for losses, including a half-sack, recovered fumble and an interception against Kentucky.

QB STEPHEN GARCIA (South Carolina) -- Completed 25-of-50 passes for 300 yards with a TD and an interception against Tennessee.

DT DAN WILLIAMS (Tennessee) -- Had four total tackles with a sack, fumble recovery and three quarterback pressures against South Carolina.

RS/TB WARREN NORMAN (Vanderbilt) -- Accounted for 266 all-purpose yards, including an 80-yard kickoff return for a TD, his third KO return for a score this season, against Georgia Tech.
