Mississippi State Visits Kentucky on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET in HD
SEC Gridiron LIVE Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on FOX Sports South
Guest Appearance by Kentucky’s John Calipari, Team Picks Top 5 Freshmen
This week, SEC football on FOX Sports South features an East vs. West showdown, as the Kentucky Wildcats (4-3) host the Mississippi State Bulldogs (3-5) at Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington, KY. All-around offensive threat Randall Cobb and the Wildcats face true freshman safety Johnthan Banks and a Bulldog squad that leads the SEC in non-offensive touchdowns with six, including Banks’ two picks against Florida last week, on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on FOX Sports South in high definition. Play-by-play announcer Bob Rathbun, analyst Dave Archer and sideline reporter Jenn Hildreth have the call at 7 p.m. ET on FOX Sports South.
On Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on FOX Sports South, University of Kentucky men’s basketball coach John Calipari makes a special appearance on SEC Gridiron LIVE presented by O’Charley’s to talk Wildcat football. Analysts David Pollack and Randy Cross debate hot topics from around the conference including Florida’s red zone struggles, Dexter McCluster’s breakout game for Ole Miss and how Alabama will prepare for its huge match up against LSU next weekend. Host Charles Davis and the crew talk BCS standings, offer picks and count down the Top 5 freshman in the league. And throughout the show, fans will have the opportunity to interact with social media reporter Cassidy Hubbarth via Twitter, Facebook and email.
Join SEC Gridiron LIVE’s Hubbarth at O’Charley’s in Jacksonville, Fla. (410 Commerce Center Drive) on Friday, October 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. ET before Florida and Georgia, the two SEC teams with the best overall records since 1999, face off on Saturday.
SEC football will be distributed to more than 24 million cable and satellite households on the FSN regional networks throughout the SEC territory – FOX Sports South, Sun Sports, FOX Sports Houston and FOX Sports Southwest.
The regional sports networks serving the Southeast – FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Carolinas and FOX Sports Tennessee – collectively reach more than 12 million cable and satellite television households in seven states in the Southeast and are the television home of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Carolina Hurricanes, Charlotte Bobcats, Memphis Grizzlies and the Nashville Predators, as well as the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Southeastern Conference. SportSouth reaches more than nine million homes in six Southeastern states and is the television home of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Thrashers and Southern Conference. SportSouth also offers expanded coverage of the University of South Carolina and University of Tennessee. Combined, the four networks produce more than 800 live local events each year.
