Duluth, Ga. - Behind a strong 24-point performance from SEC Player of the Year Victoria Dunlap, the Kentucky Wildcats defeated the Auburn Tigers 65-54 in game two of Friday's second round action here at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Ga.
The Wildcats, now 24-6 on the year, advance to play the winner of the Vanderbilt-Georgia matchup, beginning at 6:30 pm ET later today.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
• Session 3 attendance: 5,012
• The lead changed just twice in the game, and there were three ties.
AUBURN NOTES
• Auburn is now 15-16 overall, 32-25 all-time in the SEC Tournament.
• Freshman guard Morgan Toles led Auburn with 13 points, the second time she has led the way in scoring for the Tigers.
• Junior guard and Second Team All-SEC selection Alli Smalley joined Toles in double-figures with 11 points.
• After hitting a season-high eight three-pointers in their first round win over Florida, the Tigers only hit two long range shots against Kentucky.
• Auburn won the battle of the boards, outrebounding Kentucky 39-32.
KENTUCKY NOTES
• Kentucky is now 24-6 on the season, 20-30 all-time in the SEC Tournament , and will advance to play the winner of Georgia-Mississippi State in Game 10 Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
• By scoring a team-high 24 points, Junior Forward and SEC Player of the Year Victoria Dunlap reached the 20+ point plateau for the 11th time this season.
• Dunlap scored 18 points in the first half, but was held to six in the second half.
• Dunlap was joined in double-figures by SEC Freshman of the Year A’dia Mathies, who finished with 15.
• Senior forward Lydia Watkins came off the bench to lead the Wildcats in rebounds with eight.
• With the win, Kentucky advances to the SEC Tournament semifinals for third time in the last five seasons.
• The 24 wins now on Kentucky’s record marks the most since the Cats went 24-8 in the 1981-82 season.
• Kentucky defeated Auburn for just the second time in SEC Tournament play, and was the Wildcats’ first win over the Tigers in tournament play since 1995.
• UK won the battle of points in the paint 38-26, and scored 22 points off of 20 Auburn turnovers.
• The Cats also held a 14-0 margin in fast-break points.
