Offensive Player of the Week

Edmond led the Cats on offense in a record-breaking weekend for Kentucky. She had 18 kills in the win over No. 1 Florida, the program's first win over a top-ranked team in the nation. Edmond also contributed nine digs in the victory. On Wednesday, she posted 13 kills and five digs in the sweep of Texas A&M. Edmond averaged 4.43 kills per set, higher than her season average of 4.31, ranking her No. 2 in the SEC and No. 25 in the NCAA statistics.
Defensive Player of the Week
Raigen Cianciulli • LSU
Freshman • L/DS • 5-4 • Spring, Texas
Cianciulli anchored down the back row for the Tigers over the weekend, tallying a total of 74 digs for an average of 6.29 per set. She recorded a team-high 16 digs against Auburn on Friday night, including eight digs in the third set. Against Alabama on Sunday, Cianciulli registered a career-high and match-high of 28 digs to help lead the Tigers to its fourth straight SEC victory.
Co-Setters of the Week

In the program's first win over a top-ranked team, Lilley tallied 52 assists and helped the team hit .309 with 64 kills. She had a double-double in the win over UF with 10 digs, and also added four kills. Against Texas A&M, Lilley had 33 assists and helped the Cats hit .410.
Anna Zwiebel • LSU
Sophomore • 5-11 • Louisville, Ky.
Zwiebel dished out a total of 87 assists on the weekend, averaging 12.43 assists per set. She picked up 33 assists in the three sets against Auburn to go along with one kill and two digs. Zwiebel then put together her sixth double-double on the year with 54 assists and 11 digs against Alabama.
Freshman of the Week
Taylor Bannister • LSU
Freshman • MB/OH • 6-5 • Missouri City, Texas
Bannister helped lead the Tigers to its second consecutive 2-0 weekend, averaging 4.21 points and 4.00 kills per set. At Auburn, she finished with seven kills and two blocks. Against Alabama, Bannister had a match-high 21 kills, including seven in the third set and six in the fourth. She registered the kill to tie the third set at 25, which led to the set victory and gave the Tigers a 2-1 advantage in the match against the Crimson Tide.
