Men's Runner of the Week: Kendall Muhammad, Kentucky
Kentucky's Kendall Muhammad was the Wildcats' top finisher in a second-place team performance at the season-opening Queen City Invitational on Saturday. The senior placed fifth overall with a 5k time of 15:31.05, his best - and only collegiate race to date at that distance. His time was the SEC leading 5k.

Men's Freshman Runner of the Week: Trevor Warren, Kentucky
Kentucky's Trevor Warren was the team's No. 3 finisher at the season-opening Queen City Invitational, where the team finished second. His top-25 time of 15:50.70 was tops by a SEC freshman for the opening cross country weekend of the season over 5k. The meet included 178 participants.

Women's Runner of the Week: Heather Stone, South Carolina
South Carolina's Heather Stone ran the sixth-fastest 5K in program history (17:45.8) in the Carolina Challenge. It was a 5K personal best for Stone, who finished third out of 100 to lead South Carolina to a third place finish. The meet included runners from Clemson, East Carolina, Georgia Southern, Gardner-Webb and Coastal Carolina.

Women's Freshman Runner of the Week: Mikayla Reed, Missouri
Missouri's Mikayla Reed was the second highest-placing freshman at the Brooks Twilight, finishing the 5K in 18:13.89. In her first collegiate meet, she finished ahead of all SEC competitors and placed second for Missouri and sixth overall in the race among 182 participants. She helped lead the team to a first place finish.
