Player of the Week: Tennessee's Rennia Davis posted a pair of double-doubles on her way to averaging 15.5 points and 10.5 rebounds, as UT went 2-0 on the week with victories over Auburn and Missouri. Davis, who played all 40 minutes in each game, shot 11 of 25 from the field (.440), 2 of 5 from the three-point arc (.400) and 6 of 6 from the charity stripe (1.000) for the week. She connected on six of 12 field goal attempts, including two of five from long range, to tally 16 points and 11 rebounds in helping UT knock off Mizzou in Columbia on Sunday. Davis hit a pair of free throws with 52 seconds left for what turned out to be the game's final points in a 62-60 Lady Vol victory over an MU team that beat #5/5 Mississippi State on Thursday night. She is now 25 of 26 on free throws since Jan. 13. Davis also hit a crucial three-pointer with 4:48 remaining in the contest that put Tennessee on top by one after the Big Orange trailed by four on two occasions. Against Auburn on Thursday night, Davis supplied 15 points and 10 rebounds in UT's triumph of what was classified by SEC observers as a must-win game for the Lady Vols. She finished five of 13 from the field, one of one from the arc and four of four from the charity stripe. In the decisive third quarter, Davis scored six points and grabbed a pair of rebounds as UT blitzed Auburn 22-10 to turn a five-point halftime deficit into a 49-42 advantage en route to victory.

Freshman of the Week: Rhyne Howard led Kentucky in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks in the Wildcats win over Arkansas hitting the game-winning jumper with 1.3 left and then getting a game-clinching steal on Arkansas' final possession. She is the first UK player to hit a last-second shot to win a game since Makayla Epps in 2017 vs. Mississippi State. Her 14 rebounds were the second most in a game this season and helped her earn her fifth double-double of the season. Her 18 points in the game moved her up to third all-time in program history in scoring for a freshman while she continues to increase the school record for most 3s by a freshman to 63. Howard has 15 or more points in 20 games this season and had led UK in scoring 13 times and in rebounds 14 times. She has hit three or more 3s in three straight games and has three or more assists in nine of her 11 SEC games played. Howard now holds the record for most SEC Freshman of the Week honors with seven.
