SEC Player of the Week - LSU's Amanda Sanchez, a senior infielder from West Covina, Calif., led the Tigers in the series win over Texas A&M with her .700 batting average. Sanchez had five RBI and four runs scored to go along with her second and third home runs of the season.
SEC Pitcher of the Week - Kentucky's Autumn Humes, a freshman right-hander from Bald Knob, Ark., pitched 8.2 scoreless innings to earn a win and a save at No. 11 South Carolina. Humes picked up the complete-game shutout on Friday night, fanning five batters. On Sunday, she got her first save of the season after entering the game in the bottom of the sixth with two runners on and one out.
SEC Freshman of the Week - Alabama's Montana Fouts, a freshman right-handed pitcher from Grayson, Ky., recorded two wins and a save in three appearances for the Crimson Tide. Fouts threw 2.0 shutout innings on Tuesday against South Alabama, striking out four while allowing just one hit. She then earned the complete-game win in game one against Missouri with seven strikeouts and one run allowed on two hits. Fouts closed the weekend with 4.0 innings of work in game three against the Tigers, registering two strikeouts and allowing two earned runs on three hits.
