Player of the Week: Texas A&M's Valentin Vacherot went a perfect 3-0 in singles matches against No. 1 Ohio State, No 20 Tennessee and No. 34 Georgia. She bounced back from dropping the first set in two matches this week to win and help the Aggies win their 18th straight SEC regular season match and upset undefeated and top-ranked Ohio State. The three singles wins ran his streak to a team-best six matches, improving to 13-5 this year and 7-3 in dual matches. He provided a spark for the Aggies against Georgia, evening the match at 2-2 with a straight set win over Georgia's Trent Bryde. Handed Bryde his first straight set defeat of the year, marking the first time in six matches this spring that Bryde did not win a set. He waited out a rain delay and a late break in the first set to outlast Tennessee's Scott Jones in three sets. Topped No. 81 Alex Kobelt of No. 1 Ohio State to help the Aggies earn their second ever win over a top-ranked team. The ranked win was his third of the year, the second most for an Aggie this year. Vacherot delivered Kobelt his first dual loss of the year, he was 11-0 entering the match in College Station on Monday.

Freshman of the Week: South Carolina's Daniel Rodrigues extended his current singles win streak to five-straight after a second-straight 2-0 weekend. He defeated Mississippi State's Filip Kraljevic, 6-2, 6-1 and followed that with a ranked win against Ole Miss' #102 Giovanni Oradini 6-2, 3-6, 6-4. Rodrigues leads the Gamecocks with 25 singles wins on the season. He improved his dual-match record to 11-2 on the season including 3-0 in SEC play. He's 14-8 overall in doubles play this season, going 1-1 last week with a 6-3 win to clinch the team doubles point against No. 40 Ole Miss.
