Player of the Week: Cooper Johnson, Ole Miss
Ole Miss' Cooper Johnson helped lead the Rebels to their first series win in Baton Rouge since 1982 by going 6-for-11 with a home run, double and five RBI. In the series-clinching win on Sunday, he was 4-for-5 with four RBI and four runs scored. For the week, Johnson scored six runs and slugged .714 with three walks.
Pitcher of the Week: Ethan Small, Mississippi State
Mississippi State's Ethan Small retired the first 19 batters he faced in the series opener at nationally-ranked Texas A&M on his way to seven hitless, shutout innings. The left-hander struck out the first three batters he faced on his way to an eight strikeout effort, allowing just two base runners in the contest. Small held the Aggies hitless through his seven innings and issued just one walk and hit one batter in the seventh.
Co-Freshman of the Week: Ryan Bliss, Auburn
Auburn's Ryan Bliss turned in multiple hits in all three games against Alabama and tied for the team lead with six hits in the series. He reached base in 8-of-14 plate appearances and tied for the team lead with five runs scored . Bliss also drove in a season-high four runs in the decisive third game of the series and hit a two-run single in both of the three-run second and nine-run eighth innings against Alabama.
Co-Freshman of the Week: Cole Wilcox, Georgia
In his first career SEC start, Georgia's Cole Wilcox fired a complete game two-hitter to complete a sweep of Florida, beating the Gators 4-1. Wilcox tossed a career-high seven innings, allowing two hits, one run, one walk and a career-high seven strikeouts in only his third career start. He held the Florida offense to an .087 batting average and helped Georgia post its first sweep of Florida since 2006.
