Men's Runner of the Week: Parker Scott, Ole Miss
Ole Miss' Parker Scott led the Rebels at the Commodore Classic by placing 10th with a time of 24:41.90, the best time among SEC runners in the meet. He helped the Rebels to a fourth place finish out of 15 teams in a competitive meet featuring four other SEC teams. Scott made his return after redshirting the entire 2018-19 season.
Women's Runner of the Week: Jessica Pascoe, Florida
Florida's Jessica Pascoe notched her second consecutive first place finish in the Mountain Dew Invitational, while also becoming only the second Gator in school history to record four top-five finishes in the event's history. She blazed through the 5k, crossing the line in 16:54.74, almost a minute faster than the next finisher.
Men's Freshman of the Week: Nicholas Yanek, Georgia
Georgia's Nicholas Yanek was the team's top finisher for the second consecutive competition in his second race as a Bulldog. He finished the Commodore Classic in 24:56.4 and was the third overall freshman to finish and first from the SEC.
Women's Freshman of the Week: Jenna Schwartz, Missouri
Freshman Jenna Schwartz finished 23rd overall at the Commodore Classic with a time of 22:00.6 in the 6k race. Schwartz finished second overall among freshman in the meet and led all freshman-SEC competitors. The Waterloo, Ill. native's performance helped the Mizzou women claim a fourth-place overall finish.
