Week 11: Volleyball Players of the Week

SEC Offensive Player of the Week - Kentucky's Leah Edmond, a senior outside hitter from Lexington, Ky., registered 6.25 points and 5.83 kills per set and a .387 hitting percentage in road wins at Georgia and Auburn this past weekend. Edmond posted 22 kills on a .435 hitting percentage at Georgia Friday night. She then tallied her eighth double-double of this season with 13 kills and 11 digs along with four total blocks at Auburn Sunday.

SEC Defensive Player of the Week - LSU's Raigen Cianciulli, a junior libero from Spring, Texas, recorded 36 digs in wins over Auburn and No. 25 Texas A&M this past week. Cianciulli posted a match-high 17 digs against Auburn Wednesday and a match-high 19 digs against Texas A&M Sunday, the first win over a ranked opponent since 2014 and the first at home since 2010. She also tallied five assists, including the match-winning assist against the Aggies.

SEC Setter of the Week - Florida's Marlie Monserez, a sophomore from Windermere, Fla., averaged 13.12 assists per set in road wins at Ole Miss and Mississippi State this past weekend. The Gators posted a .305 hitting percentage on the week off of Monserez's 105 assists over the two matches. She posted her seventh double-double of the year with a career-high 63 assists and 11 digs at Ole Miss.

SEC Freshman of the Week - LSU's Samarah Hill, an outside hitter from Oviedo, Fla., posted 4.86 points, 4.57 kills and 3.29 digs per set and a .352 hitting percentage in a 2-0 week for the Tigers. Hill began the week with her fourth double-double of the season with 12 kills and 14 digs against Auburn. She then had a match-high 20 kills in the win over No. 25 Texas A&M, the first ranked win since 2014 and the first at home since 2010.
