BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Feb. 5, 2020) -- Arkansas' Katie Izzo and LSU's Tonea Marshall were named to the latest edition of the women's Bowerman Watch List released Wednesday by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Izzo and Marshall are among 10 track and field athletes named to the list. This marks the first time Marshall has been named to the list, while Izzo was included in the January watch list.
In addition, Alabama's Tamara Clark and Georgia's Jasmine Moore are among four other athletes who received votes.
The Bowerman is the highest honor bestowed to collegiate track and field's most outstanding athletes of the year. An SEC female athlete has won the Bowerman in each of the last two years: Georgia's Keturah Orji in 2018 and LSU's Sha'Carri Richardson in 2019.
