SEC Player of the Week - LSU's Georgia Clark, a sophomore infielder from Houston, Texas, posted a .667 batting average to help the Tigers open the season at 5-0, including two wins over No. 13 Oklahoma State. Clark hit her first career home run as a Tiger against Central Arkansas to open the season and hit her second of the weekend against Florida A&M on Saturday. She recorded five RBI and eight walks on the week and finished with a 1.667 slugging percentage and a .857 on-base percentage.
SEC Pitcher of the Week - South Carolina's Kelsey Oh, a junior right-hander from Verona, N.J., went 3-0 in the circle for the Gamecocks as she started the 2020 season with a 22-4 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Oh fanned eight batters in her complete-game effort against Ohio State, followed by six against Southern Illinois on Saturday and eight more vs. UNC Greensboro on Sunday.
SEC Freshman of the Week - LSU's Taylor Pleasants, a freshman shortstop from Houston, Texas, led the team in hitting at .692 with a slugging percentage of 1.077 and an on-base percentage of .765. Pleasants recorded a hit in every game this weekend, including her first career home run to walk-off No. 13 Oklahoma State, 3-2 on Saturday evening. The starting shortstop registered seven putouts and three assists to start off her collegiate career.
