SEC Gymnast of the Week - Florida's Trinity Thomas, a sophomore from York, Pa., recorded the nation's second-highest score and the SEC's leading total for the weekend of 39.650 as the Gators defeated No. 8 Alabama to claim the 2020 SEC regular-season title. Thomas scored a 9.9 or better on each apparatus versus Alabama. She tied for second on beam (9.95) and bars (9.90) and tied for third on beam (9.90).
SEC Specialist of the Week - Kentucky's Mollie Korth, a senior from Cambridge, Wis., recorded the best score across any event of her collegiate career with a 9.975 vault routine in a first-place individual finish versus No. 11 Georgia. Korth also tied for first on floor with a season-high-tying 9.925 and tied for second place on bars with a 9.900.
SEC Freshman of the Week - Missouri's Helen Hu, a freshman from Chicago, Ill., won the all- around and beam titles as Mizzou tied its season-best with a 196.850 against No. 6 LSU on Feb. 21. Hu claimed her first career all-around title with a personal-best-tying 39.475 and won her fifth beam crown of the year with a career-best 9.975.
