KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee earned its second home victory of the season Friday night, as the Vols took down Missouri 2-1 in an SEC East battle at Regal Soccer Stadium. Alicia Donley and Jaida Thomas each found the scoresheet for UT in the win.

With 12 seconds remaining in the half, Donley tallied her first goal of the season to put the Vols ahead 1-0 at the break. Sophomore Claudia Dipasupil served a free kick into the box and connected with Donley on a header for the first goal of the match.

Thomas netted her second goal of the season in the 71st minute, as Dipasupil and Mackenzie George were credited with assists on the play. George served a ball into the box, then Dipasupil made contact to set Thomas up from close range, who then fired the ball into the upper left corner with her left foot.

Missouri (1-2) narrowed the lead in the 79th minute as Zoe Cross found the back of the net from long range. The Tiger senior booted a ball from the right corner of the field that sailed right into the upper 90 beyond the outstretched arms of Tennessee keeper Lindsey Romig.
