Week 7: Men's Basketball Players of the Week

SEC Player of the Week - Mississippi State guard Iverson Molinar, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound sophomore from Panama City, Panama, averaged 22 points, 5.5 rebounds and two steals per game in wins over No. 13 Missouri and Vanderbilt. He amassed 30 of his 44 points during the second half on the week. He had 20 points, three rebounds and two assists against Missouri. Molinar equaled a career-high with 24 points coupled with career-bests eight rebounds and four steals at Vanderbilt.

SEC Freshman of the Week - Auburn guard Sharife Cooper, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound freshman from Powder Springs, Ga., had 26 points, nine assists, four rebounds and three steals in his collegiate debut against Alabama. He matched season-high totals by an Auburn player in points, assists and steals. His 26 points tied for the most points in a home debut by a freshman in Auburn history. Cooper scored or assisted on 16 of Auburn's 29 made field goals (55 percent).
