Player of the Week: N'dea Jones led the Aggies to their first ever SEC Regular Season Championship this week, averaging 14.0 points and 13.5 rebounds per game. At Alabama, she registered yet another double-double with 12 points and 13 boards. The Lawrenceville, Georgia, native now has 14 double-doubles this season and 40 in her career. Jones was the physical force that propelled A&M past No. 5 South Carolina. She grabbed 14 boards, poured in 16 points and swatted away two shots versus the Gamecocks. Early in the second quarter versus South Carolina, Jones became the all-time leader at A&M in rebounds. The graduate has put her team in position to be the No. 1 seed at the SEC Tournament this upcoming week.
Freshman of the Week: Ole Miss' Madison Scott averaged 7.0 points and 6.5 rebounds across two games at No. 5 South Carolina (L, 68-43) and at No. 17 Kentucky (W, 73-69). She recorded her fifth career double-double in a win at No. 17 Kentucky with 12 points and 10 rebounds. It was also her sixth career double-digit rebound game, fourth in SEC play. She has 10 games with at least seven rebounds and leads all SEC freshmen, tied for 13th nationally among freshmen in rebounding (7.4).
