SEC Defensive Player of the Week - LSU goalkeeper Mollee Swift, a sophomore from Papillion, Neb., recorded 11 saves in 200 minutes in goal in a double overtime tie at Auburn and a 2-1 win against South Alabama. She picked up her second solo shutout of the season against South Alabama.
SEC Freshman of the Week - Tennessee forward Jaida Thomas, a freshman from Irving, Texas, had her third-straight multi-goal performance in Tennessee's 3-1 win over Xavier, scoring twice in the second half to help the Vols knock off the defending Big East Conference champions. Thomas is the first Vol since at least 2001 to record multiple goals in three consecutive matches. Her 10 tallies this season are the third-most by a Tennessee freshman in program history.
