2021 SEC Women's Golf Awards Announced

The Southeastern Conference on Friday announced its annual Women's Golf Awards, which were voted on by the league's 14 head coaches.

The 2021 All-SEC teams and a complete list of awards are listed below.

NCAA Women's Golf Regionals begin play on Monday, May 10 at various sites across the nation. The SEC is represented with 12 teams in this year's field.

Mary Mac Trammell, Alabama
Mac is a regular throughout the Tuscaloosa community and West Central Alabama ... enjoys volunteering at a variety of events including reading to children throughout Tuscaloosa ... she is a regular at the Crimson Tide's Halloween Extravaganza while helping at the Alberta Head Start.

Kajal Mistry, Arkansas
Mistry has continued to serve her campus and her community despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Mistry is a part of SAAC, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, where she lends her time in trying to make sure that student athletes are represented at the University of Arkansas... Mistry also found other ways to give back during the last calendar year - she was part of a virtual event on National Girls and Women in Sports Day, where she spoke to aspiring female athletes about how they could get to college playing sports... Additionally, Mistry helped at the Razorback Canned Food Drive back in November, while also lending her helping hand at the Salvation Army's Drive-by Collection ahead of the Holiday Season. Mistry also served at a soup kitchen monthly during the spring and summer of 2020, when the pandemic was at its height... A native of South Africa, Mistry wasn't able to leave the US to go home, and used her time with the family she was staying with to serve others.

Chandler Rosholt, Auburn
Read books to elementary kids (K-3) in Auburn...Volunteered weekly at Auburn Community Church with the kid's ministry. Went through bible lessons plans with the kids as well as sing songs and help them with crafts...Volunteered as a greeter and usher at Auburn Community Church...Volunteered to teach golf to the junior golf academy at a local golf course.

Lauren Waidner, Florida
Majoring in Biology and Psychology...Streetlight Volunteer Program: UF Health program where college students volunteer with critically and chronically ill adolescents...Hospital Visits with fellow student athletes: visits with pediatric patients at UF Health Shands...Meals on Wheels: Delivered meals to underserved and elderly individuals in the Gainesville community...HealthStreet: conducted phone interviews with Gainesville community to gather data on the impact of COVID-19.

Caroline Craig, Georgia
Craig, who represents the women's golf team on UGA's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), has been as active as possible within the community during the past year. During that time, Craig has taken part in various initiatives including: Voter Education and voting registration drives; the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia's Hunger Bowl; Dawgs for Pups Food2Kids healthy snacks collection; Dawgs for Pups coat drive; Bigger Vision of Athens homeless shelter toiletries collections; the Georgia/Auburn SAAC Challenge to college toiletries for the homeless; a clothing collection for The Cottage; and the Special Olympics drive bye parade.

Ryan Bender, Kentucky
Went bowling with Special Olympics athletes ... Breakfast with Santa volunteer ... Annual participant in the UK's God's Pantry program to help pack and distribute lunches to students across the city ... Tutored and mentored children at a local YMCA where she helped them with homework, participated in engaging activities with the kids and served dinner ... Read books to kids in the community as a part of the Read Across American program.

Kendall Griffin, LSU
3-year member of the LSU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee... Spearheaded the team's virtual cards of encouragement project to St. Jude's patients... Leader and mentor to her teammates as they navigated through the past year of season cancellation in March 2020 and resuming activities during the pandemic... Volunteer at Sun N Lake Golf Club for children's golf clinics... Assisted with hurricane relief efforts during four years at LSU... Volunteered at the Fall 2018 TOPSoccer tournament with the Baton Rouge Soccer Club... Team activities have included Thanksgiving with the Tigers and the Halloween BOOzar.

Macy Somoskey, Ole Miss
Member of Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)...Member of Rebels International...Volunteered for FEED THE SIP - donated food items for Quitman and Tunica County...Helped with Rebels Rock - designed rocks with heart filled messages for nursing homes...Wrote letters for athletic trainers during National Trainers Month...Perfect 4.0 GPA with major in mathematics and double minor in economics and chemistry...Semifinalist for Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar.

Ela Grimwood, Mississippi State
With a true passion to serve others, EGrimwood was limited this year due to COVID-19, but that didn't stop the senior from recording nine hours of service across seven events... During the last two years, she's totaled 59 hours of community service... She is Vice President of Bulldogs CARE, which is comprised of current MSU student-athletes whose main focus is to serve the communities across Mississippi... The Auckland, New Zealand, native read books to children at the Auxiliary Reading Rail Road and assisted with the Bulldogs CARE Clothing Drive... She recorded an encouragement video for patients at the Children's Hospital in Jackson... Grimwood also wrote letters to patients and staff at the Carrington Nursing Home during quarantine as well as letters to women and children affected by domestic violence. She also participated in a service day during October and helped with Camp Seminole for MLK Day of Service.

Julia Bower, Missouri
Bower has completed more than 65 community service hours outside of team initiatives since her arrival on campus. She's taken several missions trips and been very active in Disciples on Campus, a ministry devoted to giving back to the community. Additionally, she's volunteered at the soup kitchen, local VA service events and Mobility Worldwide (which seeks to provide wheelchairs and other means for those in need). In the past year, Julia has also worked with other organizations like 2nd and 7, which provides book and promotes reading in the youth community, and Loaves and Fishes, which fights hunger in Columbia.

Lois Kaye Go, South Carolina
Led the team in community service hours with activities including making cards for the children's hospital and facilitating donations of toiletries for a local homeless shelter

Mikayla Bardwell, Tennessee
Bardwell is very active in the Knoxville community...One of those ways is how serves in the student ministry at her church...Bardwell plays guitar in the band and pours into the high school musicians who join the band...Bardwell provides energy for the students in her student ministry and has the tremendous opportunity to help mentor the high school girls that attend the group...She has served at Knox Area Rescue Ministries (KARM) in Knoxville. KARM provides food and shelter for those in the Knoxville area and Bardwell supports them by writing encouraging notes to those who come through the organization...Bardwell has also received the opportunity to serve at the Love Kitchen in Knoxville, serving food to others with a friendly smile.

Brooke Tyree, Texas A&M
Tyree is an incredibly active member of the Texas A&M community ... She is a leadership role on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), which provides input to the Athletics Department, SEC and the NCAA regarding present and future issues, both on- and off-campus, pertaining to student-athletes ... Tyree is also responsible for helping organize Aggies CAN, the largest student-athlete run canned food drive in the country ... She helps lead Women Encourage, Equip, Empower (WE3), which helps unify female student-athletes at Texas A&M through mentorship and creating developmental opportunities.

Virginia Green, Vanderbilt
Virginia serves as our team's rep for the Be An Anchor Leadership Program. She also is the team's rep for Dancing 'Dores Marathon for children at the Vandy Children's Hospital (this is also known as Vanderbilt University Dance Marathon)...Outside of Vandy, she is the social media marketing intern for What Happens in Nashville...She has made the Deans list every semester since fall 2018.
