Arkansas fell 10-4 to Arizona in Game 1 of the best-of-three NCAA Women's Softball Super Regional series on Friday night in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The Razorbacks registered a two-run home run by Hannah Gammill and solo home runs by Hannah McEwen and Aly Manzo, but otherwise were unable to generate much offense against strong pitching by Arizona's Hanah Bowen.
Arkansas, ranked No. 6 nationally, will face the No. 11 Wildcats in Game 2 of the series on Saturday at 5 p.m. in a game that will be televised on ESPN2.
