24 SEC T&F student-athletes earn academic honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (July 15, 2021)-----A total of 24 Southeastern Conference track and field student-athletes have been named to the 2020-21 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field / Cross Country Teams, according to an announcement Thursday by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The Academic All-District Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the competition realm and in the classroom. Twelve SEC student-athletes were named to the Men's Academic All-District Team, and 12 were named to the Women's All-District Team.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First, second and third team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-August.
