SEC and NSC announce events around SEC WBB tournament

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (February 25, 2022) --The Southeastern Conference and Nashville Sports Council have joined together to bring a week full of events to help celebrate the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament, held March 2-6 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
Simple 7-UP SEC FANFARE
- Date: Friday, March 4th - Sunday, March 6th
- Time: Friday (10 a.m. - 6 p.m.), Saturday (11 a.m. - 5 p.m.) and Sunday (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
- Location: Bridgestone Arena Plaza
- Scope: Full experience featuring food, drinks, interactives, live entertainment and much more
- Free to the Public
SEC Trailblazers Reception
- Date: Wednesday, March 2nd
- Time: 6 - 9 p.m.
- Location: National Museum of African American Music
- Scope: Recognition of the SEC Trailblazer
- Invite Only
Title IX Celebration presented by Simple 7-UP
- Date: Friday, March 4th
- Time: 9 - 11 a.m.
- Location: Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame/Bridgestone Arena
- Scope: Breakfast with a panel of SEC Trailblazers focusing on the 50th anniversary of Title IX
- Invite Only
Downtown Dribble presented by Nashville Sports Council
- Date: Saturday, March 5th
- Time: 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
- Location: Check-in at Bridgestone Arena Plaza
- Scope: Children ages 5-14 years old will dribble a short route around Bridgestone Arena in celebration of the 2022 SEC Women's Basketball Tournament. Participants will receive a FREE basketball, a FREE event t-shirt at registration, and 1 Free Ticket to the Saturday session games. Registration is encouraged to receive T-shirt and basketball.
