Mizzou upsets No. 15 Florida in regular season finale

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - University of Missouri women's basketball closed out the regular season with an upset road win at No. 21/15 Florida, 78-73, Sunday at the O'Connell Center.

The Tigers (18-11, 7-9 Southeastern Conference) closed the first half on a 19-2 run to lead 29-22 at halftime and closed out the game going 25-of-29 from the free-throw line to defeat the Gators (20-9, 10-6 SEC).

Hayley Frank led all players with her 26 points and 10 rebounds - recording her first double-double of the season. It was her fifth-straight game in double digits and seventh 20-point game of the campaign.

NOTES

• Mizzou won the battle of the boards by a 41-33 margin.

• Izzy Higginbottom came off the bench to pour in 15 points with five rebounds and three assists.

• Mama Dembele scored eight of her 13 points in the third quarter and had three assists and two steals.

• Lauren Hansen finished with 12, along with five boards and two assists.
