Four SEC Teams to Compete in NCAA Gymnastics Semifinals
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (April 13, 2022) - Four SEC teams along with six student-athletes have advanced to compete in the 2022 National Collegiate Women's Gymnastics Championships.
The championships, hosted by Texas Woman's University and Knight Eady, will be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas on April 14-16.
Alabama, Auburn, Florida and Missouri are among the eight programs that qualified for the team competition. Alabama will compete against Minnesota, Oklahoma and Utah in Semifinal I on Thursday, April 14 at 1 p.m. ET, live on ESPN2. Auburn, Florida and Missouri will compete in Semifinal II along with Michigan on Friday at 6 p.m. ET, live on ESPN2. The National Championship will take place on Saturday, April 16 at 1 p.m. ET, live on ABC.
In addition, the championships will also include the top all-around competitor and the top finisher on each event from each regional who are not members of a qualifying team.
