The Bourbon Heritage

Bourbon is the only native spirit of the United States and while it can legally be produced in any state, 95% is produced in Kentucky. With four distilleries near Rupp Arena and 10 within 30 minutes of downtown , there are plenty of opportunities to explore the history and heritage of this iconic industry.

Thousands of people travel to Lexington each year to visit Keeneland, our Thoroughbred racetrack , and this year we're e xcited to host the Breeders' Cup Championships once again in November .
