GOLFER OF THE WEEK

 Brendan Valdes, Auburn

  • Shot 67-67-72 to clinch a share of the Isleworth Intercollegiate individual title and earn his first collegiate win
  • Led the team to its third victory of the fall and the best start in the 75-year history of the program
  • Leads the SEC in stroke average for players with at least 12 rounds

 Austin Vukovits, Mississippi State

  • Won his first tournament in individual play at the North Alabama Invite in Killen, Ala.
  • Shot a career-low 68 in the first round.
  • Shot a 71 in the final round with a bogey-free back nine
  • Carded a birdie on the No. 11 green in round 3 to give him the one-stroke lead to secure his win.

GOLFER OF THE WEEK

 Jenny Bae, Georgia

• Shot 5-under to finish fourth individually at the Stanford Intercollegiate.

• Did so competing against a field that featured four top-10 and seven top-25 teams.

• Posted birdies on 28 percent the holes (15 of 54) in the tournament, including seven red numbers in the final round.

• Recorded her third top-4 finish in four fall events.

• Notched her seventh and eighth scores in the 60s in 12 fall rounds.

• Wrapped up her fall season with a stroke average of 68.83, 1.50 strokes per round better than any other SEC golfer to date this fall.
