Player of the Week 

 Jessika Carter, Mississippi State

Carter, tied a career-high with 29 points in the win over New Mexico. She also set a career-high with 4 assists. She earned her 6th double-double of the season, 24th of her career by adding 10 rebounds. Her 14 made field goals were the most by any SEC player this season and her 29 points scored were an SEC-high for the week of Dec. 21-26. Her 2 blocked shots continued her streak of multiple blocked shots in a game to six straight. She is second in the league in blocks with 36. She currently sits at 999 career points and with her next basket will become the 28th member of the MSU 1,000-point club.

Co-Freshmen of the Week

 Sydney Shaw, Auburn

Shaw, scored 14 points in Auburn's 77-49 win over North Florida. She added four assists and a career-high four steals in the win, giving her 46 assists through 12 games. With 3.8 assists per game this year, she leads Auburn and ranks ninth in the SEC among all players and tops among SEC freshmen.

 Karly Weathers, Alabama

Weathers, scored a career-high 21 points and tallied a career-high 6 rebounds in the team's 64-point win over North Florida. She led Alabama in scoring despite playing just 22 minutes against North Florida. She also added three steals and an assist against the Ospreys.
