BATON ROUGE, La. - The LSU volleyball team defeated UCLA 3-2 (25-20, 25-18, 20-25, 21-25, 15-10) Friday night at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

The Tigers (1-0) hit .314 on the night on 66 kills and registered 12 blocks to hold the Bruins (0-1) to a .275 hitting percentage.

Freshman outside hitter Jurnee Robinson paced the team with 23 kills, while graduate middle blocker Anita Anwusi finished with six blocks to lead the team.
