Auburn's Ryan Kinnane won his first collegiate meet with a time of 23:19.90 at the Southern Showcase 8k. He set a personal best in a field of 304 participants that included competitors from No. 23 Alabama, Kentucky and Ole Miss.

South Carolina's Judy Kosgei clocked the program's first-ever sub-16 minute 5K after running 15:52.9 to best her own program record by one minute and win the Gamecock Challenge. Kosgei has now won each of her first two events.
Georgia's Ryan Olree was the top-finishing freshman at the Gamecock Challenge, placing sixth overall to score in his second collegiate meet. Olree completed the 6k in 18:10.5 to help the Bulldogs earn a perfect 15 points at Friday's meet.
Alabama's Doris Lemngole clocked a 16:12.10 to claim the individual crown in the women's 5k at the Southern Showcase in her first collegiate race. Her 16:12.10 time was the second-fastest reported 5k time of the week across the conference.
