BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M Aggies were clicking on all cylinders as they shut out the Ole Miss Rebels, 4-0, and returned to the win column Friday night on Ellis Field.

After going scoreless the first 30 minutes of the game, the Maroon & White caught fire scoring goals in the 35th and 40th minute. The goals were scored by Sydney Becerra and Andersen Williams.

A&M registered two more goals in the second half. Macy Matula scored in the 55th minute and MaKhiya McDonald with the last goal in the 69th minute.

Four goals mark the best conference scoring effort of the season. With the dominating defensive performance, the Aggies earned their sixth shutout of the year and Kenna Caldwell her 15th career shutout.

Macy and Margo Matula, Quinn Cornog, and Adysen Armenta were the backbone of the defense limiting Ole Miss to five shots, including just one shot-on-goal.

The Maroon & White controlled the stat sheet, leading in shots (26-5), shots-on-goal (11-1), and corner kicks (11-2).

A&M owns an 9-3-2 edge in the all-time series against the Rebels.
