Bon Secours Wellness Arena - Greenville, SC
Ticket Information

The Southeastern Conference Women's Basketball Tournament will be played for the fourth time in Greenville, S.C. when Bon Secours Wellness Arena plays host to the 2020 event.

The Bon Secours Wellness Arena is a state-of-the-art 15,000 seat sports and entertainment venue. The Arena was opened on September 13, 1998 and has hosted award winning musical acts as well as events such as WWE and Disney on Ice. In the fall of 2012, the Greenville City and Greenville County Councils approved funding of $13.1 million for renovations to the Arena. In June of 2013, the first of a three-year renovation project began with phase two starting in June of 2014.

Beginning with its inception and through 1986, the tournament was held at campus sites. The tournament was then sent to Albany, Ga., which served as the site for six years from 1987-92. The tournament then moved to Chattanooga, Tenn., where it was held from 1993-2000, apart from 1998 when the tournament moved to Columbus, Ga.

Since 2001 the tournament has enjoyed many new sites, including Memphis (2001), Nashville (2002, 2004, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2018), Little Rock, Ark. (2003, 2006, 2009, 2015), Greenville, S.C. (2005, 2017, 2018, 2019), Duluth, Ga. (2007, 2010, 2013, 2014) and Jacksonville, Fla. (2016).

The winner of the 13-game tournament will receive the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The tournament seeds and conference champion will be determined by the 16-game regular-season SEC schedule.

Tennessee leads the league with 17 SEC Tournament titles. Vanderbilt is second with six, while Auburn, Georgia, and South Carolina each have four. LSU has two with Kentucky, Mississippi State and Texas A&M having each won one SEC Tournament championship.
