Lisa Branch - Texas A&M
Basketball (1992-96)

Texas A&M's first All-American, Lisa Branch set Texas A&M career records in points (1939), assists (795) and steals (309) in leading the Aggies to their first two NCAA Tournament appearances in 1994 and 1996.

Branch was a three-time First Team All-Southwest Conference selection, and was the league's player of the year in 1994. Branch led the Aggies to the 1994 Sweet 16, becoming the lowest seed ever to reach the Sweet 16, after upsets of Florida and San Diego State.

The following season, she helped the Aggies to the NWIT Championship, and was named that tournament's MVP. In 1996, she led the school to its first Southwest Conference Tournament Championship, in the final edition of the event.
